Latin: an intensive course Floyd L. Moreland, Rita M. Fleischer
Publisher: University of California Press

In preparation for beginning my new PhD program in Classical Studies at Columbia, I have been taking intensive Latin courses. Once again, this forum seems to have gone months without a post, so since I've been using this textbook for a short while now, I decided to post and see is anyone else using it at present. I still felt pretty shaky, so I then worked my way through most of Moreland and Fleisher's Latin: an Intensive Course. 'Elementary Latin I' is an intensive course designed to introduce you to the basic elements of the Latin language. This required several months, even though I worked every day. In twelve weeks we will have covered two full years of Latin. We provide you with a 4-week intensive course, including 57 hours of input sessions, over 12 hours of lesson preparation help, at least 6 hours of observed teaching, at least 6 hours of observation practice, 12 hours of feedback / critiquing experience. Latin 107 is Hunter's intensive course in Beginning Latin. Taught by Professor Philip Walsh. This course is open to students who have completed at least one year of intensive Latin or two years of Latin. This dictionary is perfect for a Latin class and a great bookshelf companion to “Latin: An Intensive Course” by Moreland and Fleischer. Looking to accelerate your Latin and translate the work of memorization into ready comprehension? This one-semester, 6-credit class, introduces students to the basics of the Latin language, including vocabulary, grammar, and syntax. Intensive Course: Cultural Heritage Resources for Local Development and Tourism Strategies. Last week, I had the opportunity to take an intensive Latin-in-a-week course with Mr. Dwane Thomas of Franklin, Tennessee.
